Owner and Founder Mark Sohm

Mark Sohm is a United States Marine Corps Veteran. Mark Sohm served as a Platoon Sergeant in Operation Iraqi Freedom II. Mark also has an MBA from Frostburg State University and a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Anthropology from Towson State University. 

We wanted to build a company for others that is focused around super heroes and everyday heroes. We believe in making a positive difference in the world through actions and promoting heroic values. Those days reading comics growing up where a hero can always overcome unbelievable odds has resonated with me as a young man and still as important today as an adult. We all can make a difference everyday. 

How did the name come to be? Blood on the Street is a Wall Street term in the stock market. The original quote and definition of Blood on the Street is believed to be “Buy when there's blood in the streets, even if the blood is your own. “ The worse things seem in the market, the better the opportunities are for profit.

When the world becomes the most difficult and hopeless, that is when it's most important for courageous everyday heroes to stand up and make a difference.

Blood and the Street Collectibles has a subsidiary book shop called Book Raiders. Book Raiders is located in the Emmitsburg Antique Mall in Emmitsburg, MD. Book Raiders promotes the theme of the Explorer and Adventurer. The books focus on History, Sustainability, Adventure, Explorers, War, Maritime, Outdoors and Fantasy.
